BEAVER COUNTY BOOKFEST

Beaver Bookfest is BACK for 2025! This year, it's a countywide event hosted and sponsored by the Writing & Publishing Department at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School. It will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11--and we're delighted to open signups for authors and vendors!


The deadline for signups is Aug. 31. The nonrefundable signup fee of $40 includes a table, chair, and 8' exhibition space. Lunch will be provided to vendors onsite. The event will be held rain or shine; there will be covered and/or indoor facilities available in case of inclement weather.

RULES AND GUIDELINES FOR ALL AUTHORS AND VENDORS:

  1. Author/vendor spaces are limited.

  2. Authors/vendors will be provided with an 8-foot table and one (1) chair.

  3. Authors/vendors must be set up by 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11.

  4. Authors/vendors shall present themselves in a reasonable and non-offensive manner. Because this is event is sponsored by and held at a middle/high school, and because students will therefore be present, some materials may not be appropriate for display or sale.

  5. After unloading, authors/vendors will park in designated parking areas. These parking areas will be shared with authors/vendors in advance, with information about areas where parking may be prohibited by the boro.

  6. Exhibition spaces are reserved from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025.

  7. All applications will be reviewed by BookFest organizers to ensure conformity with the event's mission and objectives.


Any risk and/or loss from this event shall be borne by authors/vendors. BookFest organizers and promoters, as well as the Boro of Midland, shall not be held responsible for accidents, injury, theft, and/or loss of property. BookFest 2025 shall be held rain or shine.
