Natalie, Your article is outstanding. You made it chic to save. It has terrific information. You have an excellent writing style. I'm a mom so I'm not going to be going to any proms, but I'll think about those fancy function that require special attire. Keep up the good work. You should definitely consider submitting your article to a teen magazine for next year's prom season. Your article is definitely magazine style and publishing quality. Keep up the good work. Sincerely, Terri

Rachel this article is really good. It has terrific information. You have a very good writing style. I'm a mom so I'm not going to be going to any proms. But your style made me read the entire article and wish I could do the prom all over again--at a more economical price. Keep up the good work. You should consider reworking some of the local references and submitting your article to a teen magazine for next year's prom season. Your article is definitely magazine style and publishing quality. Keep up the good work. Sincerely, Terri

Mrs. McKenzie,

That is very interesting. I have heard of some instances though that students haven't gotten into certain programs and recieved some scholarships because they didn't have a class rank on their application from Lincoln Park. So class rank affects more than just college applications...but that is a very interesting point, I didn't know that schools recalculated to their own scales.

Thanks for the info!

Over the summer I spent some time working on a project for my principals’ internship. During that time I spent several days calling the best, brightest, and the most prestigious colleges. It turns out that most of them don't really use class rank in their application review process. All of the schools said that they recalculate a students GPA according to their own scale and they don't even look at class rank. Interesting eh?
