Tyler Schwartz awarded scholarship to Slippery Rock

Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School senior Tyler Schwartz has been awarded a full tuition Board of Governors Scholarship from Slippery Rock University.
Schwartz is a son of Kimberly Schwartz of Aliquippa. A dance major, he has been a student at Lincoln Park for three years.
His career goals are to dance professionally and teach dancing.
Schwartz, who plays piano and sings, entered Lincoln Park as a music major but his interest switched to dance. He performed in the recent jazz pop concert at Lincoln Park and previously performed in the musical "Les Miserables" at Blackhawk High School.
