Two advance in 'Rocket to the Stars' competition

Congratulations to LPPACS junior Mariah Keefer and sophomore Kiersten Kelly for advancing to the semifinals of the $10,000 "New Castle Fireworks Festival Presents: Rocket to the Stars" singing competition.
Mariah and Kiersten will compete in the semifinals on May 25 at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in New Castle, Pa. The finals take place July 14 at the Fireworks Festival in New Castle, which will be broadcast on multiple radio stations.
Kiersten is a daughter of Myria Mehalich of Imperial, Pa. Mariah is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffery Keefer of Monaca.
