Message from the CEO
Dear parents and guardians:
"Saving the best for last" is a cliché we have all heard and too seldom believe. Yet the opportunity to serve as the CEO of Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School, after a career spent in a variety of education settings, has made this saying a reality for me.
My experience has given me the opportunity to understand the many ways in which Lincoln Park is changing the face of education in this area. We are fortunate to call home a world-class facility that has been designed to accommodate an equally world-class arts education. We have hired a faculty of seasoned arts professionals and enthusiastic young instructors, committed to sharing their considerable knowledge through educational innovation. And we have attracted a group of students whose artistic talent and desire to learn make them a joy to teach – and watch grow, through the many performances and exhibitions offered through our school.
All these things make Lincoln Park unique. But the combination of these blessings has created something even more remarkable, in my experience. That is, a place where students want to attend school – and a school community that really is a family.
Of all the advantages we offer at Lincoln Park, it is this real, deep connection between students, families, faculty and administration that makes me most proud. This connection is why my favorite part of every day is greeting our students as they get off the buses. On a daily basis, I get to see firsthand the excitement Lincoln Park has created, and the difference it's making.
If you're a member of our Lincoln Park family already, I can only say thank you for trusting us with your most precious gift – your student. If you want to know more about what we're doing to change education in this area, I welcome your questions and look forward to the chance to show you the Lincoln Park difference.
Sincerely,

Rebecca Manning
